Meet the Founder, Sierra Hillebrand


Sierra Hillebrand MA, MLP (she/ they) is a psychotherapist, doula and perinatal educator who has worked with new and expectant parents for over two decades. Sierra brings a wealth of experience to her work, alongside a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.

Sierra believes deeply in the power of knowledgeable and compassionate support to help people reduce symptoms, break free from negative patterns, and build more joyful and fulfilling lives. She is committed to building models of care that prioritize access, sustainability and justice, and in which clients and care providers alike are valued, encouraged and supported within a community of care.

As a therapist, Sierra’s approach includes humanistic, relational, and solution-oriented psychotherapy. Sierra is also trained in eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based modality used to treat trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder.  In their clinical work, Sierra is particularly attuned to the needs and experiences of trauma survivors, neurodivergent parents, healthcare workers and LGBTQIA+ parents and families.

As a masters limited psychologist in the state of Michigan, Sierra provides mental health services under the supervision of licensed psychologist, Rebekcca Grekin, PhD.
